Sciacau Vino Rosato

Cherry pink in colour with the right consistency.

The olfactory sensations are more intense than complex with good finesse. Hints vary from floral notes of rosacanina and cherry blossom to fruity notes of wild strawberries, blackberries and medlars. On the palate, it is dry and warm with discreet softness, good acidity and the right sapidity.

It is well-balanced, with the right intensity and intense aromatic persistence; fine and harmonious.

VINE: 100% Rossese.

SOIL TYPE: Clayey – calcareous.

PAIRINGS: Fried fish, fish baked in salt or baked in foil, or as a simple aperitif.

ORIGIN: Vineyard located in the Fulavin locality in Soldano.

EXPOSURE: Vineyard with east/south exposure.

AVERAGE PLANTING DENSITY: 5/6000 vines per hectare.

VINIFICATION: Produced from grapes from the Fulavin vineyard in Soldano, it is kept on the skins for about 24 hours, racked and then

fermented at a controlled temperature of 14°/16°C for approximately 30 days; malolactic fermentation without induction.

AGING: Five months in steel tanks, the remainder in the bottle.

CULTIVATION NOTES: Banded cultivation with sapling system.
