A century-long history<\/h1><\/div>

Ours is a young company but one with ancient winemaking origins. It was in fact in 1888 that my great-grandfather Giacomo Anfossoreimplanted the Poggio Pini vineyard in Soldano. Some of those plants are still there. It was there that our Rossese diDolceacqua Superiore was born. In 2002 my wife Marisa and I decided to embark on an adventure in the world of wine and we took over the running of the vineyards from my father Luciano. Today the company has grown to an area of about five hectares. Here we make wine from three nomeranze<\/em> (a Ligurian term of ancient origin that can be translated as \u2018Cru\u2019): the Poggio Pini, the Luvaira and the Fulavin. Then there is a Dolceacqua Superiore, the ros\u00e9 Sciacau and the white wine Antea, made from white Rossese grapes. We cultivate our vines with hard work and sweat. Our wine is born on crags between the sea and the mountains, with steep slopes, in strips held up by dry stone walls where man’s work is constant and mechanisation is nil. It takes passion and love for a land that is so hard but which manages in the meantime to give great satisfaction in the quality of its grapes and wines.<\/p>\n<\/div>
